Wes Richards retired from broadcasting after nearly fifty years on the job at NBC, CBS, ABC, Bloomberg News and the Associated Press, only to find that "radio disease" is a life long condition, and returned to the airwaves here at WBLF.

"It's something of a culture shock, living here after all of those years in New York City and Long Island.  But it's a pleasant one.  People are pretty much the same all over, but here there are fewer of them."

Wes is a graduate of Antioch University, spends his free time practicing the guitar and blogging.  He also reads a lot.

Wes' program can be heard daily on WBLF from 3-5 pm.  It's an evolving talk show in which he and listeners discuss the news of the day, Local, National and International.  Recently, conditions have dictated more discussion of the economy, which has been his sub specialty for many years.  There is always time for a good discussion about local events.
